When does the season start?Our winter season commences at the end of April/early May and concludes mid September. Training season usually commences in March, with preseason training available for some Junior and Senior teams in February.

When and where is training held?Training is currently held on Tuesdays at Woodlake Sports Oval, Ellenbrook. Some Junior and Senior teams also train on an additional Thursday night. Training sessions for all our teams are subject to coach and grounds availability, however, Miniroos teams have generally been held at 4:30pm, with Junior teams training at various times from 5:30pm. Senior teams train from 7pm.

What does a player need at training?Players should wear their shin pads and appropriate sports clothing. There is no set training shirt to be worn, however, training shirts are available for purchase at $27. Drink bottles should also be brought to training, as there are no nearby water fountains available.

Where are matches played?Our home ground is Chichester Reserve, Woodvale for all Miniroos teams (U6s to U12s). All matches are played on Saturdays at this location with fixtures any time from 8am to 1pm. All Junior and Senior teams are fixtured to play at Paloma Park (Marangaroo), Ferrara Park (Girrawheen), Ashfield Reserve, Maida Vale Reserve and Santiago Park (Ocean Reef). Opening and Closing ceremonies are held at Ashfield Reserve.

What is included in my registration?Player registration includes Football West and WACFA fees, insurance, playing socks, end of season trophies and access to club events. Players are also loaned a game shirt for the season, to be returned at the end of the season. Players must supply their own black shorts, shin pads and soccer boots for games.

How can I become involved?If you are an aspiring coach, manager or wish to provide any kind of assistance would love to get you involved! There are various ways to support our club and we'd love to have a further discussion with you! Please email info@ellenbrookroverscfc.com for more information. Note - Coaching roles are subject to approval by Ellenbrook Rovers and WACFA. We encourage coaching roles to be delivered as a combined venture (Coach/Assistant coach or Co-coaches) and encourage all our coaches to uphold the values of our club in the way they coach their teams at training and game day.

When can I register?Official registration will open late January/early February. However, Pre Registration will now be available for all interested players until 31 December. Pre registration will still require an official registration through Play Football when that platform becomes available.

How can I purchase a training shirt?Training shirts are an optional purchase at $27 each. This can be ordered on the Play Football platform when registration officially opens for the season. Bank transfers for purchases are also available by emailing the Uniforms Coordinator at uniforms@ellenbrookroverscfc.com.

How can I purchase a Club Hoodie or Jumper?Club hoodies and jumpers are optional purchases at $45 each. They can be ordered on the Play Football platform when registration officially opens for the season. Full payment is required for purchase. Bank transfers for purchases are also available by emailing the uniforms coordinator at uniforms@ellenbrookroverscfc.com. Please note that the deadline to receive orders (and full payment) for each season is 31 March. The order is then placed with our supplier in April with an expected shipment to us after 6-8 weeks. Updates will only be provided if the supplier notifies us of any known delays to the shipment arriving. Otherwise, please be patient, as we will distribute the orders as soon as they are received.

Can I access a payment plan for my registration?Payment plans are available in the 2025 season for new players registering with our club. Payment plans are also available for returning players who have not pre-registered.

Why should I pre-register?Our registration portal, Play Football, doesn't allow us to take any registrations before it opens at the end of January/early February. We have found that not knowing how many people will register for the season makes it difficult for our club to plan for enough coaches, resources and equipment. While the final registration numbers will still not be known to us until 2025, we hope that by providing a pre-registration option we can anticipate the number of teams we will have and have enough time to organise and equip coaches, organise equipment and overall be better prepared for the start of our season.

Do I have to pre-register to play in 2025?Not at all! Pre registration is completely optional and our normal registration will be available around February 2025. However, registrations will continue to be on a first in, best dressed policy. Pre-registration confirms your spot on a team that we will plan to resource and allocate a coach for. We will allocate players to teams according to when they signed up with us and if extra teams are needed to be formed but don't have enough players, those players may have to be turned away. Pre-registration also comes with an early bird discount. After the pre-registration period, our new registration fee will be in effect.

What if we don't know yet if we want to play next season?That's ok! We understand that you may not be sure yet. Registration will still be available in 2025. However, please note that registration is on a first in, best dressed policy and will be subject to available teams and coach availability.

What if we pre-register and then change our mind?No problem! We are happy to provide a full refund at any time during the pre-registration period. Should you choose to withdraw after this period, we can provide a refund less an administration fee.

I want to pay with a Kidsport voucher, what do I need to do?In order to pay for your registration with a Kidsport voucher, you will need to apply directly with Kidsport. You can do this here: https://kidsport.dlgsc.wa.gov.au/kidsport/apply-for-kidsport-1/ You can complete a Pre-Registration form first before applying for your Kidsport Voucher. Please indicate that you will be paying via Kidsport. Once you have received approval from Kidsport, you will be provided with a code. You will need to email us the code at registrar@ellenbrookroverscfc.com. Your pre-registration will only be completed once your Kidsport voucher code has been received by us.

Is there a deadline to pre-register?Yes. Pre registration will only be taken until 31 December. After this time, any further registrations will only be taken once our registration portal opens at the end of January/early February. At this time, the new registration fee will be in effect.

What happens when official registration opens in 2025?Once the Play Football platform is available for registration, all pre-registered players MUST register on Play Football. You are only eligible to play for the season with a Play Football registration. Instructions will be sent to all pre-registered players on how to officially register. No extra registration payments will be required on Play Football if full pre-registration payment has been made to the club. Optional purchases for training shirts and Club Jumpers/Hoodies can be made at this time.

I'd like to pay for my pre-registration with a payment plan. What do I need to do?To pay with a payment plan, first, please complete the Pre registration form for the player. At the payment section, please select that you will be paying with a payment plan. Once the registrar has received your form, we will be in contact to provide you with a reference number that you will need to include for all transactions. This will allow us to track your payments. Please do not use the player's name as a reference. Our pre-registration payment plan will be whatever your total registration fee is divided into your choice of regular payments. This means you could pay weekly, fortnightly or monthly. However, your full registration fee must be received by the club by 31 December 2024. If you have trouble remembering to make payments, we recommend that you set up a regular bank transfer to the Club, so that payments will be made continuously until the full amount is paid. No reminders will be sent for your payments and the full responsibility for paying will be on the payer. As we are a volunteer-run club, we appreciate your cooperation in managing your own regular timely payments. Please note that families with 3 or more players registering have a slightly different arrangement. Please see information for this in the FAQ.

What happens if I forget to pay by the deadline?Should you have any issues paying the full amount by the deadline, but we can see that consistent payment have been made in the pre-registration period, we may extend a 1 week grace period to complete your payment. However, should payment not be completely by the deadline and payments have not been consistent in the pre-registration period, then your pre-registration may be cancelled. Any amounts received will be refunded. As always, if you are having trouble completing your payment plan, please let us know so we can determine the best course forward. We want to do what we can to help all families be involved. You will have another opportunity to register when registration opens in 2025, however, full payment will be required to complete your registration. No payment plan will be available.

How does a payment plan for 3 or more players work?To assist families with 3 or more players on a payment plan, the deadline for full payment will be extended. However, the percentage of the total must be reached by the allocated deadline below. No reminders will be sent for payment and non-compliance may result in the cancellation of all players' pre registation. We hope you understand that our club is run on a volunteer basis, and greatly appreciate your co-operation in organising your own schedule for payments. 31 Dec 2024 - a minimum of 50% of the total must be paid Feb 2025 - in order to be eligible to officially register on Play Football and retain your pre-registered spot, 65% must be paid to receive the code to register. 31 Mar 2025 - minimum 80% must be paid to receive player's uniform for the season. 23 April 2025 - full payment must be received to play for the season. *Please note that it is essential that you use the reference number provided to you for all bank transactions, so that we can track your payments. We hope that by providing this structure, it will allow families the flexibility to register without the burden of paying the full cost at once. A schedule with expected amounts will be provided when you ask for your payment plan. If you are unable to pay at any time, please communicate this to registrar@ellenbrookroverscfc.com. We greatly appreciate transparency and honesty in order to better plan the best course forward.

Will I receive any payment reminders on the payment plan?No reminders will be sent for payment plans. Unfortunately, non-compliance may result in the cancellation of all pre registation.
